The fishery is Fly Only. Please note – there is no right of vehicular access beyond the public road. Please park considerately without blocking the road. Access is by foot from the end of the public road.
Please note that all anglers will need to abide by the Findhorn District Salmon Fishery Board Codes on Conservation and Bio Security. These can be found on their website here. The key points are:
Conservation.
* Please release as many fish as possible and abide by the rules as listed on the Findhorn Board website.
* Practice catch and release safely.
Bio Security.
* Check your equipment and clothing for live organisms
* Clean all equipment, footwear, and clothing thoroughly
* Dry all equipment at 20 degrees for more than 2 days or deep freeze for 1 day.
* Prevent the spread of signal crayfish and the gyrodactylus salaris parasite
* Complete the form, to be found on the Findhorn river board website (link above) before arriving for your fishing.
