Weem beat has only been fished privately and comprises of 1 mile single (left) bank fishing from General Wades Bridge upstream for one mile where it marches with Lower Farleyer and consists of a variety of pools ideal for fly fishing and spinning in most water heights.
There are 6 named pools on the beat as well as a succession of runs and streams giving excellent fly water as well as deeper holding pools for the spinner.
The pools are easily covered in low to medium water with the fly and can be comfortably fished with the spinner in higher water.

- Deep Holding Glide
- The Groins
- Substation Pool
- Island Pool Tail
- Bridge Pool
Salmon can be caught from the opening day right through the season with the main spring run in April and May when some good catches are made.
In the summer months the grilse appear in the pools providing great sport with the floating line or intermediate before the larger autumn fish arrive later on in the season.
