CONDITIONS OF LET RESERVATIONS
The proprietor lets the rights of fishing only and does not accept responsibility for the natural hazard and adverse climatic conditions out with their control affecting the catching of Salmon. The Client should take out insurance to cover for flooding or adverse weather conditions where they are not able to fish. The Proprietor will not offer any other days to cover the days lost due to weather / river conditions.
The proprietors accept no responsibility for loss or damage to tenant’s property from whatever cause arising, nor for any injury to the tenant or any member of the fishing party. In the interest of safety no alcohol should be offered or given to the Ghillie during the fishing period. The proprietors accept no liability for personal fishing accidents, they strongly recommend that all anglers, whether in the boat or on the bank, should wear lifejackets.
Any records of catches submitted to prospective tenants are as received from the proprietors and the agent, while believing them to be correct, does not accept responsibility for their accuracy.
PERMITS On the first day of let the tenant will be provided with a written permit complying with the Salmon Fishery Acts. It will indicate how many rods are authorised. This permit must be produced on demand from a police officer or duly appointed Fishery Board Bailiff. The tenant is responsible for the fishing party at all times when fishing. Should the tenant not be present at any time a person must be nominated to take charge of the party.
FISHING METHODS Fishing with prawns, shrimps or any part thereof is banned at all times. Fishing with worms is banned until 1st June Ghillies The rent includes the services of a Ghillie Where the lets are made up of more than one party, the services of the single boatmen are shared. The tenant is not permitted to hire or engage any additional boatmen or boats other than those provided by the proprietor. In the interest of safety the Ghillie decision on when it is not safe to take the boat out is final. Should any other dispute arise between the tenant and the Boatmen the agent must be informed as soon as possible and certainly before the expiry of the let.
CATCHES As per the Tay District Salmon Fisheries Board Recommendations
FISHING HOURS The Ghillie will be in attendance during the normal hours of fishing from 9-00 hours to 17-00 hours. Bank fishing only is permitted outwith the normal hours and should be agreed with the Ghillie before fishing. The catch made during the evening must be reported to the Ghillie
GENERAL This let of the rights of Salmon fishing is subject to the Laws of Scotland. The proprietor reserves the right to amend the fisheries policy & conditions with out prior notice.
