Please Note: A Fishing Return must be made for all sessions. These provide useful information for other guests and also record our season statistics.
A Catch and Release system is operated, in common with other fisheries. Parking for the system is available as follows Obbe - car park opposite Village Hall Millpool - Church of Scotland car park
Loch Steisebhat - old quarry past cattle grid on Peat Road
Loch na Moracha - layby above pontoon Loch Langabhat - passing places near outflow and at southern end of Loch Please realise that some of these places need to give space to passing traffic. The Bothy driveway is used as access by the neighbouring house to the rear, so is only available during Bothy opening times.
Safety Rules Obbe Fishings Public Liability Insurance Policy requires all guests to abide by the Safety Rules. The Keeper, acting for the enjoyment and safety of all guests, has the final word on access to the fishings.
Boats Use of a boat is at the discretion of the Keeper especially with regard to weather conditions. Boats are for a maximum of 3, except for Millpool which is 2. No standing is permitted when fishing from a boat. Life jackets must be worn when on the water. If waves start to have white tops then the boats must be returned to the pontoons. All Loch Langabhat boats on the larger section must be ghillie led.
It is a condition of fishing that guests abide by these critical rules so you will understand that any infringement of these rules may void your insurance protection.
