These conditions are subject to change to comply with new regulations.
1. The fee for visitor permits is payable at time of collecting permit
2. Permits issued must be carried at all times while on the beat.
3. Anyone discovered fishing without proper written permission will be in breach of Section1 of the Salmon and Fresh Water Fisheries Protection Act 1951, and may be prosecuted.
4. The permit allows for the fishing of Salmon, Grilse and Sea Trout. Catch and release is encouraged as much as possible.
5. You may fly fish the water at all permitted times. Fishing is prohibited on a Sunday.
6. The following are prohibited: spinning, worming, lead core fly lines, lead core sunk tips, high density fast sinking lines, additional weights on fly line casts, and natural or dyed prawns or shrimps.
7. Any fish less than ten inches must be returned to the water alive, and the law pertaining to parr, smolt, yellow lug and kelts must be strictly observed. All red salmon, hen fish ripe with spawn and any fish which is not hooked by the mouth must be returned to the water alive unless badly damaged. Fish killed must not be sold.
8. The Club will accept no responsibility for any loss or injury. Permit holders are required to hold suitable insurance cover to indemnify themselves against all claims of whatever nature, which may rise from fishing this beat.
9. This permit must be produced on demand to any Bailiff or Club Member on production of their identification. The person may require you to state your name and address.
10.A completed catch return must be returned to the club secretary within seven days of fishing. Nil returns are required.
11.Any ticket holder infringing there rules will be warned and may be banned from fishing this beat.
As a condition of lease, the policy of NO DOGS must be adhered to at all times.
