There are 4 beats of between 1000 and 1700 meters covering the North and South Tyne Rivers and their Junction, each beat with an average of 7 named pools, with both double and single bank fishing.
The 4 beats are available individually or together, daily or weekly as follows:
1. Fourstones (South Tyne)
2. Baddox & Boatside (South Tyne)
3. Junction at Watersmeet (North & South Tyne)
4. Thistlerigg (North Tyne)

Where individual beats are taken on a day rod basis, Beats 1 and 2 will change over at 1.30pm each day and similarly Beats 3 and 4. If a pair of beats (1 & 2 or 3 & 4) is taken then two rods can fish together and move freely between the beats throughout the day.
In order to retain important local connections and knowledge, a local Angling Club, with limited membership, also has access to the water and have fished the water for several years; they are well run and share the same strict codes of conduct.
Substantial improvements to access, amenities (benches and huts) and to bank management are ongoing and will continue to be an important feature of the Operational Management, in the capable hands of Andrew Jackson, who is also available to Guide, by separate arrangement.
