The spectacular expanse of Kielder Water & Forest Park, offers you a truly stunning location, for an 'away from it all' experience. The largest man make lake in Western Europe, with over 20 miles of fishing shore line, as well as a fleet of 15 boats. Kielder offers some of the most rewarding fishing available to both the enthusiast and competition angler. For non anglers there are many recreational and leisure facilities, making it a venue for all the family.
Family and couples permit is £39 (T&Cs apply)

Credit Cruncher is £19 for single rod permit and £23 for two rod permit.
Children under the age of 17 fish free with a family permit and up to two children fish free when a parent/guardian buys a day trout permit.
Encompassed by pine forest and heather moorland, Kielder is a unique venue. 20 miles of fishing shore line and 2,000 acres of water you can try a different spot every time you fish. Kielder may seem a daunting venue to some, however it is soon cut down to size due to the extreme depths. There is a fleet of 15, 17 foot "Orkney Longliner" boats, including wheelie boats for disabled anglers. Bank anglers, bait and fly are spoilt for choice with access to 20 miles of shoreline. A multi-user track provides access for a variety of users, including disabled access, around the whole reservoir. Try the bays and drift the margins for some exciting sport, the wild browns are growing and are a welcome addition to the stocked rainbows. The fish never really seem to be that far below the surface, a floating line or intermediate will cover most situations
