There are several ways on FishPal to find fishing, check availability, and then book a permit for the fishery you would like to visit:
Search by map
One way for you to look for fishing is via our Map. The link below will take you to a web page that shows a table searchable by location and date. It also shows a map, on which you can zoom in and out, with the available fishing automatically showing in the table opposite. This method of finding a permit may be best for a general search by location for those who don't have a specific rivers or fishery in mind.

Search by list
Another way you can search for fishing permits is via our List view. This link will take you to a table that allows you to input the location and date range in which you are interested. The available fishing options will then be displayed. This option is best for those that know which river they would like to visit and don't need to use a map.

Search by river or region
If you prefer, go straight to our Home page, which gives you a number of ways to search for fishing permits. You can reach the Home page by clicking the FishPal logo in the top left hand corner of this page. From here, you can use the "Find fishing" search box to enter the particular river or region you want to visit, and your dates. Or, you can click the "Regions" drop down at the top of the page, and this will show you all of the available rivers and regions where FishPal is active.
Search by fishery
If you are sure you know which fishery you would like to visit, you can go directly to the fishery page in two ways. Firstly, from the Home page, in the "Find fishing" search box, type the name of the fishery into the "Where:" field. You should see it appear in the drop down with a small blue fish symbol next to it. Click the fishery and this will take you to the specific page you are interested in. Secondly, you can find your fishery via the "Regions"menu at the top of the Home page. From the drop down list of regions, select the river or region you want. From this page, click the "Fisheries" menu item from the list in blue on the left hand side of the page. You will then see a list of all the rivers in that particular area, allowing you to click into the river you want.
