What is FishPal?

FishPal is an online booking information website for anglers who fly fish for Atlantic salmon, trout and grayling. We are proud to be run by anglers, for anglers.

We are the leading fly fishing website in Europe, with over 700 bookable fisheries and 100,000 registered anglers, and are looking to grow our footprint further.  Our ambition is that wherever an angler is going in Europe, they can pack a rod and use FishPal to find fishing or a guide.

How Did We Get Here?

FishPal started when agents and owners on the river Tweed came together to form the FishTweed website in 2003. The success of this operation lead to the birth of FishDee and FishTay, and other rivers across Scotland and the north of England followed.  In 2008, these brands came together as FishPal.  The website became part of the SpeedyBooker family of websites in 2021 and merged with the Norwegian website Elveguiden in 2024.

Supporting our Environment

We give a small contribution from every booking (at no extra cost to you) to World Land Trust, an organisation that has saved more than 750,000 acres of threatened habitat from deforestation or development by creating protected reserves. Sir David Attenborough, the British Naturalist, said “The money that is given to the World Land Trust, in my estimation, has more effect on the wild world than almost anything I can think of." By booking through FishPal, you are contributing to this success story: thank you for your support.

Through the generosity of our anglers, we also donate over £20,000 ($26,000) every year to environmental charities specific to supporting fish.  This includes charities that, for example, enhance river environments through tree planting or run scientific projects to identify ways to help the Atlantic Salmon prosper as a species.

List Your Fishery

FishPal is open to listing new salmon, trout, and grayling fisheries in Europe, providing they keep to proper standards and have sustainable stock management. We also list accommodation in areas that may be useful to anglers. If you are interested in listing with us, please find out more via our Join Us page.
