When and where to fish

The River Nairn is located in the northeast of Scotland and flows into the Moray Firth. The Moray Firth is a large coastal inlet of the North Sea and is known for its rich marine life, including many species of fish such as salmon, sea trout, and cod.

The best time to fish the River Nairn and the Moray Firth will depend on the species you are targeting and the time of year. For example, salmon are most commonly caught in the River Nairn from late spring to early autumn, whilst sea trout are often caught during the summer months.

It is important to note that fishing in Scotland is categorised by the Scottish Government and it is always recommended to research and follow the local fishing regulations to ensure a responsible and sustainable fishing experience.
