Why fish the Mourne

The River Mourne is one of the finest salmon rivers in Northern Ireland. It flows through County Tyrone, before eventually emptying into Lough Foyle.

The River Mourne is approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles) long. It originates in the Sperrin Mountains in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, and flows in a northwesterly direction before joining the Foyle estuary at Magilligan Point on the north coast of County Londonderry.

Alongside excellent trout fishing, it is one of the most prolific salmon rivers in Northern Ireland.
