Glen Tanar Estate - Waterside & Ferrar Beat
Waterside & Ferrar has 6.4 kilometres (4 miles) of magnificent fly-fishing, from 13 named pools of double-banked fishing on the River Dee. Double-banked fishing is available to all fishers throughout the spring season. The beat is being offered for let, inclusive of Shared Ghillie Services from 9am - 5pm Monday - Saturday, from the 20th of April to the 27th of June 2026.
The Spring fishing season starts on the 2nd of March and runs until the 27th of June 2026. During the Spring 4 rods can fish the beat. The beat is being offered for let, inclusive of Shared Ghillie Services from 9am - 5pm Monday - Saturday, from the 20th of April to the 27th of June 2026.
There are 3 fishing huts on the beat spread across both banks. Access to the beat is by car along tracks to most of the beat. There are also paths along the riverside on both banks that allow access to all parts of the beat on foot.
The beat is fly fishing only and has a complete catch and release policy.
