The Association waters inlcude Salmon and Trout fishing on 5 miles of the River Fillan, half a mile of bank fishing for Salmon and Trout on Loch Iubhair, 5 miles of trout fishing on the River Lochy and trout fishing on Lochan Na Bi. Ben Lui is known as the source of the River Tay, the water from here flows down Glen Cononish where the river changes its name to the River Fillan.
The Fillan is a typical spate river which when the water is right can fish very well. Salmon usually arrive in June depending on conditions, with fish moving into the river right up to the end of the season.
The river can be covered quite easily with a single handed rod. Spinning is also pemitted. The trout fishing is also very good. The lovely thing about the river is its beautiful clear water. Trout of up to 3lbs are not uncommon.
