Overview

The River Spey needs little introduction as one of Scotland's best known salmon rivers. Castle Grant's 3 beats, situated just downstream from the historic town of Grantown on Spey in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, offers superb fly water in truly stunning surroundings.

Each beat has double bank fishing ensuring exclusive use in a quiet setting and in beautiful and often very varying surroundings. Castle Grant employs a team of exceptional ghillies who go the extra mile to make sure time spent at Castle Grant is memorable. Castle Grant ghillies have a wide local knowledge of the river and its surrounding and are always happy to share their knowledge with guests and to assist those in need.

Access to the river is excellent and vehicles may be taken along the private beat roads to within metres of most pools. Boats are provided to help cover some of the water and to ease access to the opposite bank.

Each of the 3 beats has its own well-appointed fishing hut, providing facilities including WC, hot / cold water, cooker, fridge, heaters and barbecue.
