The beat is comprised of three historic ones over two miles of double bank fishing. It starts above Banchory Bridge on what was Lower Blackhall & Kinneskie then runs down through Banchory Fishings which embraces the mouth of the Water of Feugh and on into Invery. This is an excellent mixture of traditional spring fishing water and prolific summer grilse pools.
Anyone booking two days in the period from 2nd February to 28th March, 2026 will be entitled to claim a third day free. Subject to availability, the free day can be taken at any time there is availability during the season 2026. Contact the owner direct to arrange.
There are four fishing huts and one ghillie with an occasional second in support.
The beat offer eight rods February to April inclusive thereafter dropping to six although in May only, the proprietors reserve the right to offer a further two rods if fish numbers and water conditions permit. There is one house rod at all times but it will rarely be used.
Guests of all abilities are welcome. Youngsters are encouraged with special rates available for those of school age if accompanied by an adult.
The beat adheres to the Conservation Code of the Dee District Salmon Fishery Board.
