Bradley Pond is set amongst the stunning scenery of Exmoor National Park. Up until now fishing has been totally private and the Pond has only been fished a few times every year. There is a convenient boat as there are pontoons around the Pond but; recommend that fishing is done from the bank before venturing out on to them as fish can be close in to the margins.

The fish in here are very special. Originating from Loch Leven the Brown Trout take on a dark complexion but are still beautifully marked. They also get very large and during the first explorations of this newly opened up fishery, some very large fish were seen rising! Further to the Brown Trout there are Sparctric Trout. These are truly beautiful fish with their vibrant pink spots and white edged fins. They fight well above their weight and are uncommon here in the UK.

The pond itself is spring fed and very deep with plenty of cover for the fish. Weed patches create shelter for the fish but, also habitat for fly life. There are good hatches of buzzers, haw-thorns, olives and sedge.

Please respect the spectacular bird- and wildlife.

As this is set on the top of Exmoor, it is quite exposed so take an extra sweater just in case!
