The Bargany Water comprises of 1.5 miles of double bank fishing. There are two beats, each of five named pools. Two rods can be accomodated on each beat.
The river is a spate river, typical of this area, winding through pasture and historical woodlands. The best conditions are found in July to September, generally in the days following high water. Catches have markedly improved over the last two years with pools being returned to fishing condition after some years of low maintenance.
There is a ghillie available by prior arrangement, and a Holiday cottage which sleeps 4 close by the river.
