General

• A ghillie is not provided although you can make arrangements to be shown the water.
• Maximum rods: 2 rods let on a daily basis.  A 3rd rod can be booked by same group of people excluding July and August.  Please contact owner  for further details.  
• Fly only at all times.
• The Dee Conservation Code must be observed (copy in the hut).
• Write all fish caught & released (salmon, grilse & sea trout) in the fishing book in the hut, or advise the fishery manager after each days fishing by email or telephone.
• Dogs permitted but must be kept under control at all times.

Insurance:

• Personal & Public Liability: Please ensure that you have adequate cover for your own Personal Liability & Public Liability. Sluie Estate will not be held liable for your own safety, and that of others in your party, or to the general public through actions of tenants of the fishery. You, and your guests, are strongly advised to take all necessary precautions to ensure your own safety.
• Floatation aids, chest waders, appropriate clothing are all highly recommended.
• Property: If you are fishing for more than one day you will be given access to the fishing hut. This can be locked securely. However, please note that tenants leaving any equipment in the hut do so wholly at their own risk. Appropriate insurance is advised.
• Subletting: No subletting is permitted without the prior consent of the fishery manager.

Fishing Etiquette:

• Please be polite and helpful to other people using the river or riverbank, whether they are fishermen, canoeists, walkers etc. The usual fishing etiquette rules apply. Do not hog a pool, do not start fishing in front of someone else in the same pool, allow other fishermen playing fish to pass through unhindered if necessary.
