Overview

Tomdoun and East Glenquoich fishings is situated in the scenic Glen Garry on the upper River Garry and includes approximately 5 miles of salmon fishing comprising the following beats:

Geargarry - Double bank fishing. Head water of the River Garry. A mountain stream with long pools and fast runs and turns and pots.

Kingie - The chance to fish the famous Kingie pool.

Poulary - Four main pools with numerous runs and pots. The fly works well here and spinning permitted at high water. Chest waders a must.

Tomdoun - A beat well suited for the big salmon rod. Four main pools with Garrygulach, the last before it reaches Loch Garry.

All beats are fishable with the purchase of a permit.

The beat is featured on Mortimer & Whitehouse "Gone Fishing" season 5 - available on iPlayer.

The Ghillie is David McDonnell. He will meet guests and show them where to fish. Should you require the services of the Ghillie for the day or would like tuition this can be arranged. Details on request.

They also offer self catering accommodation at Alt Na Slat. It comprises two bedrooms, sitting room, kitchen and bathroom.
