Set within the stunning Glen Clova valley, Hotel Clova offer 6 miles of double banked fishing for salmon, sea trout and wild brown trout.
Given good water springers would be expected in the Glen Clova beats from mid April onwards. Grilse & sea trout appear in June after a spate and can offer great sport given the right conditions. The most productive time for the beats is autumn, where fish move into the beat as they move towards the headwaters - after a spate the fishing can be very productive.
There is good access for both the upper and lower beats, with a road running alongside the river with numerous spots for parking, giving anglers a short walk to the river bank.
Anglers who wish to stay have the option of staying in Hotel Clova, offering excellent accomodation to visitors. There is also the option of fishing for wild brown trout and rainbow trout in Loch Heath.
Fishing is by fly only.
Half day tickets are available which are ideal for sea trout fishing during the summer or indeed fishing afternoons through out the season.
