About River Annan Events
River Annan Events are organised and delivered by the Annan DSFB to offer anglers organised fishing days on various beats throughout the year. The days are also to help raise money towards youth angling development projects within the Annan catchment with all money raised donated to the Annan DSFB.
All events are based at the Johnstonebridge Community Centre, DG11 1ES.

River Annan Events include:
- Winter Grayling Days - A day of grayling fishing throughout the river with several beats available.
The meeting place and time is Johnstonebridge Centre at 8:30am for bacon rolls and tea/coffee before beat allocation and fishing for the rest of the day.
- Spring Brown Trout Workshops - A morning of theory and instruction on invertebrates and river fly life, advice on tackle, tactics and fly selection plus casting instuction and casting demos at Johnstonebridge Centre followed by an afternoon of fishing to put theory into practice. The meeting place and time is Johnstonebridge Centre at 9:00am for bacon rolls and tea/coffee
- Summer Sea Trout Nights - A night of sea trout fishing on the Annan fishing allocated beats through the night. A great way to try night time sea trout fishing starting at the Johnstonebridge Centre from 8.00pm for bacon rolls and tea/coffee followed by fly tying, advice on sea trout tactics, fly choice and pool selection before heading to the allocated beats.
All events are 100% catch & release.
