Lewis Hendrie Guiding

Lewis started fishing at the early age of 4 and by the time he hit 11 he discovered the world of fly fishing. By 13 years old he was representing the England youth team in which he remained in the team for 5 years until he was no longer a youth at 19 years old he represented England in the 2005 youth world championships in Czech Republic.

At 19 years old he became one of the youngest ever qualified casting instructors and coaching in the country, achieving his Level 2 CCA coaching assessment. 

He then went on to represent England senior team from 23  and has kept a place in the team ever since, fishing in numerous European and world championships.

His passion took him down the route of becoming a professional fly fishing guide and casting instructor for the past 20 years. Lewis specializes in river fishing for trout and grayling and saltwater fly fishing. He is an avid photographer which has resulted in him traveling around the globe to fish destinations throughout Europe and New Zealand.

Based in the southwest of England, Lewis spends his time Guiding clients all around the west country and also giving casting lessons. Catering to people of all levels, up to the most experienced..

Fast creating a name for himself within the UK fly fishing scene. Lewis has appeared on mainstream television numerous times and made a regular appearance on BT Sports series, ‘On the Bank’. He is a regular contributor to various fly fishing magazines..
