Wilson’s Sporting Camps boast’s some of the finest Atlantic Salmon fishing waters in New Brunswick. They have 16 “Private Pools” with a variety of holding water that maximizes your success no matter what the water condition. Their guides transport you by 28-foot luxury jet canoes on the five-mile section of the Miramichi River and teach you all the tricks of the trade, including casting lessons if required. The Miramichi watershed, including the famous Cains River, offers some of the finest sea-run brook trout angling in the east. Early June is prime time for both the Cains and Miramichi. It is a short three to four-week season, and weather and water conditions are key. They combine salmon fishing as a backup in the event the trout are not in the mood that particular day.
It is common to land a dozen or more of these aggressive wild Stripers in a single day. Anglers have a choice to fish with spinning rods and lures or artificial flys on your favorite saltwater fly rod. Prime time is late May through most of June.
The new contemporary resort facility merges perfectly with the natural surroundings of the river valley, while at the same time offering all the modern amenities and convenience that business groups and families of this era expect.
The Main Lodge features eight luxury beds. The master suite ( fireplace ) has a queen bed and one double sofa bed and a private ensuite bathroom. The other seven beds are located in the “bunk room “ with a room divider and two bathrooms with showers, perfect for family groups.
Riverfront Suites. The suites are the perfect fit for two people. Units BM 2, BM 3 and BM 4 each have two double beds, BM 5 has a King bed, fireplace and two person jacuzzi, three piece bathrooms and a spacious living room that will seat four people comfortably. There is a bar fridge and coffee maker included. High quality bedding and linens are the standard in all of Wilson’s accommodation units.
Riverfront Cottages. A total of four beds for each unit. They go the extra mile and expense with the highest quality beds and linens. Each cottage has a well equipped kitchen with full size appliances and all the dishes & cookware. There is also a gas grill on your deck with propane provided and wood for the fire pit.
