Week Comm 27th May
The river had a massive 2 metre flood and has caused more damage to banks and paths with trees dislodged as well.
Catches were good though and on monday David Johnstone had a 14 lb and 11 lb salmon, Dave Carson had his 1st of the season at 10 lb. Gordon Rennie did well with 3 weighing 10,9 and 8lbs and Mike Hendry had his 1st of the season at 9 lbs. Wednesday and Gordon struck again with 2 at 12 lbs and 10 lbs and finished his week on friday with another at 10 lbs. All fish were caught on fly and released. The river is back to lowish water but rain is forecast this coming week so hopefully the good catches will continue.
