Primarily offering brown trout fishing, Candacraig Estate Fishings are on the north bank of the Don between Luib Bridge and just below Miton of Edinglassie, running through varied and attractive countryside in a beautiful part of Scotland.
There are 5 beats, each capable of having two rods on the water at once.
Catches of salmon and sea trout have been reorded, however this streatch has been historically underfished and so catch records are scant.
Most of the fishings are a short distance from the A944 and are easily acessible. Parking is aviabale at various points.
The fishings lie approximately half an hour from Ballater to the south, 35 minutes from Alford to the east and Aberdeen can be reached in an hour and 20 minutes.
