Notes to Fishing Tenants                                                                                                                         

1. Catch & Release.  It is the wish of the River Tay Catchment proprietors to enhance breeding stocks of fish by introducing a catch and release policy.  You are requested, whenever possible, to return caught fish to the river. 

2. The fishing may not be sub-let.  However, in the event of the rod being unable to fish, he or she may assign the rod to a third party.

3. Please record all catches on the angling record form provided, and return this to the Estate Office.  Please include fish returned to the river.

4. Fly-fishing only with standard fly tackle is permitted.  Prawn, shrimp and worm bait is not permitted.

5. a)  Spinning is permitted but we would ask for anyone spinning to give way to fly fishermen. 

b)   Multi hook lures should not be used (i.e.single treble mepps and tobys. 3” max length only).

6. You should hold an adequate and valid public liability insurance.
