After almost 3 months of next to no rain, above average temperatures,
almost dangerous water temperatures to river life. IT FINALLY RAINED!!!!
Fish has been bouncing around many river mouths, ebbing in and out on tides
and this is not only for the salmon but also seatrout as well.
Last weekend saw a good dumping of water for Northern England, Southern Scotland,
and the west Coast of scotland. With a 1ft an above rise, this was enough to encourage
fish into many rivers and as a result catches have spiked in the early part of the week.
Fish have come and are running the lower reaches on many beats at present. With the cooler
conditions and an odd shower due in the fishing should improve. ?!
More news as i get it.
