Beats 1-3 directly downstream of Lovat bridge provide lovely fly water and are fished predominantly for Salmon.
Beats 4-7 are most popular with Sea Trout anglers and apart from beat 8 (The Ferry) flow rates can be slow in low water.
All beats are tidal and effectively cannot be fished for between 2 and 4 hours around high tide. Approximate tide times are available on the Beauly Angling Club website if an official copy is not available.
The fishing on the inner half of the Beauly Firth is also available, offering saltwater fly fishing, spinning and bait fishing predominately for Sea Trout.
