This a private beat of fishing which has only been available since January 2017.
There are numerous pools each with unique characteristics due to a series of islands in the middle of the beat. Some of the pools can be fished from the bank but most require wading, which is predominately on gravel, and chest waders are preferable.
The fishery prefer it if the beat is fished by fly but in certain circumstances spinning is allowed. The Fishery Manager will make the decision.
A guide is available and should be booked in advanced through the Fishery Manager. It is highly recommended that guides for those who are new to the Blackwater along with beginners and the less experienced are booked.
There is a fishing hut that is available.
