Ballyvolane House

The Blackwater is one of the finest salmon rivers in Ireland and across Europe as a whole, stretching for 150kms with a strong run of Spring, Summer and Autumn fish. The river is almost entirely privately owned and it is not easy to obtain fishing, however Ballyvolane House is a member of the prestigous Great Fishing Houses of Ireland and would be delighted to help arrange your trip to the Blackwater for you, in partnership with the Blackwater Salmon Fishery here.
