This picturesque loch is around 10 acres and is stocked with quality Rainbow trout (2lb - 8lb) and 2lb+ brown trout providing exciting angling. Part of the water is sheltered making it suitable for fishing even during windy weather.
This water permits fly fishing only and must be fished from a boat. There are 4 boats available (with life jackets) and these are included in the price of the fishing. Each boat fits two anglers comfortably.
Access to the loch is easy with a car park located beside the water.
Accommodation is available very close at the Three Lochs Holiday Park. The Park also has a well stocked shop which offers a wide range of fishing tackle and light refreshments.
This loch is part of the Holker Estate fishings which offer an exciting range of coarse, trout and salmon fishing all within a short distance of the Three Lochs Holiday Park (also see Loch Heron, Loch Ronald and Airyligg Fishings (on the Tarff) pages).
There is a range of fishing opportunities. All these costs include the cost of boat hire and life jackets.
