Getting here

By road

The Tweed lies close to all major arterial routes connecting the Scottish Borders with England and central Scotland.

There are three major trunk roads within the Borders: The A1 which runs through Berwick and up the east coast, the A68 which connects Newcastle to Edinburgh and the A7 which runs across country from Carlisle and the M6.

All routes are complemented with numerous minor roads interconnecting the length of the river.

There are over 15 trains running daily between King's Cross and Edinburgh and from Berwick to London takes approximately 3.5 hours.
