The Tweed Salmon Fishing Museum in Kelso was officially opened by Her Grace the Duchess of Roxburghe and Sir Gareth Edwards last Thursday. The museum documents the history of salmon fishing on Tweed and is a must visit for those fishing Tweed and further afield.
The museum is located in the Town Hall and is open Monday to Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 10am-1pm. Admission is free.

Several beats reported that there were plenty of fish in the pools. Park finished the week on fifteen. Emmanuel Farinoli was back on the Dee and the picked up six of Park's fish, the best of which was 14lb.

A place has become available on Gary Scott's Dee course, 17/18/19th September, fishing the famous Monaltrie on the River Dee. The beat has caught eighteen salmon this month. His Spring 2021 course on this beat is fully booked.

Seven hundred and seventy one Salmon and sixty three Sea Trout were landed for the week with the best fish a 26lb Salmon caught on the Birgham Dub beat.
Above Kelso one hundred and seventy four fish were reported, Between Kelso and Coldstream two hundred and eighty seven were reported and below Coldstream three hundred and ten were reported. With the best fishing being at Tillmouth where eighty eight Salmon were landed.
