THe holder of this permit is granted permission to fish for salmon with ONE ROD PER PERSON ONLY on the Glendoe Estate stretch of the river Oich, being the North bank of the river, extending from Loch Ness to the Sanatorium Burn.
Fishing to be by rod & line only and shall be carried out in fair and sportsmanlike manner. The use of shrimp, prawns, or worm is ILLEGAL.
In line with with all other upper proprietors, Glendoe Estate operate 100% CATCH & RELEASE of salmon and sea trout. The careful handling of any salmon must be practised before release. The use of treble / multiple hooks are discouraged. Any dead or dying fish must be reported to the estate or Ness District Salmon Fishery Board at the time. Anglers should not retrieve any dead fish from the water.
The permitted hours are from 8am until one hour before sunset. Permit must be produced upon request to the estate keepers, Ness District Fishery Board bailiff, or any other authorised person.
A catch return stating number of fish caught, weighs and bait use must be made within 24 hours of fishing day to the Estate representative.
Salmon season 15th January to 30th September.
