Coniecleugh

Coniecleugh Fishery lies approximately four miles downriver from Huntly. Access is off the Huntly/Portsoy road B9022 to Coniecleugh Farm. There is a car park here with a fishing hut and rod box. Coniecleugh is a double bank, four rod beat of 2 miles. There are 18 named pools and it has a reputation for holding salmon through the season (and notably as being a stopping beat for spring salmon). The beat is a natural, wild beat. also producing wild Brown Trout over 3lb and Sea Trout over 5lb each season.
