The bearer is permitted to fish for GRAYLING only over fishings which extend from A-B NORTH BANK AND C-D SOUTH BANK on the map.
Upper and lower limits are marked by notice board on-site, the upper limit at Point C being a marker post approximately 100 yards below the mouth of the Water of May. Juniors must be accompanied by an adult.
1. Day only seasonal: 15th November 2020 to 15th January 2021 (excluding Sundays).
2. HOURS OF FISHING: Sunrise to 1 hour after Sunset.
3. Grayling anglers must give way to Salmon anglers and if asked, to move on or not fish a particular stretch.
4. THIGH WADERS ONLY – breast waders are prohibited.
5. Fishing will be Fly rod, fly reel and fly only. Maximum 4lb breaking strain nylon, minimum taking size 10".
6. All anglers must refrain from lighting fires, dropping litter, or causing damage to estate property. DOGS ARE PROHIBITED.
7. Car Parking: Suggested areas available are marked on the sites map. Parking is solely at the user’s risk. The estate accepts no liability for damage, accident or loss. Vehicles should be parked to avoid blocking field gates or creating hazards to passing vehicles when parked adjoining public roads. All gates should be closed when not in use.
8. A record of your catch (including date of catch, type of fish and weight), including NIL returns MUST be submitted to the Estate office within 5 working days
9. Your licence/permit is not transferable, and proof of purchase must be carried at all times when fishing and shown on demand.
10. Any breach of the above conditions will result in immediate cancellation of your permit/licence and anyone continuing to fish under these circumstances will render themselves liable to prosecution.
