Coupar Grange is not your typical beat on the River Isla as it gradually falls some 5 feet as you travel its length. This provides anglers with the opportunity to fish some excellent runs and pools using fly and spinner. (see catch statistics)
There is a fully equipped fishing hut and WC. Adequate parking next to the hut and easy access to the river for disabled anglers.
The beat are known for their friendly approach and care that you have an enjoyable days fishing.
Accommodation can also be arranged for guests prior to arrival.
For wildlife enthusiasts the beat boasts a great variety of birds and mammals from ospreys, peregrine, kingfishers, buzzard, roe deer, otter, hares and water vole seen regularly. Remember to bring your camera.
Coupar Grange is 1 mile from Coupar Angus and 4 miles from Blairgowrie. Both Perth and Dundee are just 20 minutes by car.
The beat would like to remind all anglers that Coupar Grange has banned the use of worms until 1st June, in conjunction with the Tay District Salmon Fisheries Board recommendations.
