The beat extends to approximately 2.5 miles of single bank fishing which is fished in conjunction with Carron fishings. In order to ensure privacy there is an inter-beat agreement, which divides the fishings into two double bank beats, which are fished on alternate days.
The beat offers a variety of fishing suitable for both the novice and and experienced fisherman from fast flowing waters that produce both spring salmon and grilse to deeper holding pools that produce fish throughout the season. The more experienced fisherman may chose to use lighter tackle to cover the water and to fish for the sea trout that arrive on the beat in early June.
The ghillie will accompany the party throughout the week and operate the boats where required. There is however easy access to most pools, which is facilitated by the Carron Bridge. However some of the wading needs to be undertaken with care. There is a very attractive and well appointed fishing hut with hot and cold running water and excellent dining and catering facilities.
Please note under COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing rules, NO boats will be used and the HUT will be locked.
