Delagyle is very attractive and secluded; it has its own Lodge, built in 1991, and a five year average of some 150 salmon/grilse and 32 sea trout; the largest fish caught in 2013 being a 21lb salmon.

The beat extends to approximately 1.5 miles of single (right) bank and provides fishing for 4 rods.
The beats of Carron and Laggan lie above Delagyle, and Kinermony (right bank) below with Wester Elchies opposite.

The beat is situated approximately 2 miles west of Aberlour and is reached by turning right off the A95 on to the access road to Kinermony House. At the entrance to the house turn sharp left and follow the tarmacadam road to Delmore Farm. Beyond Delmore continue down a farm track, through a gate (which should be kept shut), over a cattle-grid crossing the old Speyside railway track and on to Delagyle Lodge a few hundred yards ahead. The river is a short walk from the Lodge, which itself lies approximately midway between the Upper and Lower beats.

Delagyle is a very beautiful and secluded beat which can provide some excellent salmon and sea trout fishing, primarily between April and September.
There are approximately 7 pools on Delagyle, several of which can be fished off the bank. Other pools are fished by wading as there are no boats used on this part of the river.
Four rods may fish; 2 rods fish the Upper beat in the morning and swap at lunchtime (1 pm) with the other 2 rods fishing the Lower beat. In high water the ghillie will vary the arrangement to ensure that rods can utilise the fishable water.

Pools.
Upper Beat: Dalbreck - Brock - Horse Hole - Clarex - Delene
Lower Beat: Polmacree - The Pots - Delagyle - Lower Delagyle - Gean Tree
