Overview

Badenoch Angling Association was formed in the mid 60's with the aim of improving fishing in the Badenoch area. The Association controls fishing on the River Spey from the mouth of the River Tromie to the Spey Dam at Laggan. There is also fishing on the A86 side of Loch Laggan, Spey Dam and part of Loch Ericht.

Fishing is brown trout, salmon, sea trout & pike. There is also some pike fishing between Lochan Uvie & Laggan. Loch Laggan is known to hold some specimen pike.

Season for Salmon/Sea Trout & Brown Trout is 15th March to 30 Sept (no fishing for Salmon/Sea Trout on a Sunday). You can fish for pike all year.
