The Scaliscro bank of Loch
Langabhat lies on the
western shore, extending
from Uidh Ausavat to Allt
Loch Bruiche Breivat, and
includes Corigeroid Bay
which provides excellent
fishing for salmon and brown
trout.
The 3 mile journey to Loch
Langabhat by Argo-cat takes
around 45 minutes and 2
hours on foot.
Scaliscro Estate has two
clinker built boats in
Scaliscro bay.
Scaliscro permits a maximum
of six bank anglers per day.
Anglers are reminded that
legally, they are ONLY
allowed to fish one rod at a
time.
Bank fishing day tickets
cost £10 per rod/day. Guided
fishing trips cost £250 per
day which includes a
ghillie, transport by Argo-cat (for up to 4 guests),
use of one boat (for up to 3
rods) and use of an outboard
engine.
Fly fishing is encouraged
but spinning and bait
fishing are allowed. We
encourage no trolling in
Morsgail Bay and the
Langadale basin particularly
when other boats are fishing
by fly in these areas.
Catch
and release of all salmon
and sea trout is encouraged,
and all hen salmon and sea
trout should be returned
after 1st September.
Please
do not leave any litter.
