Approximately 8 miles of mainly double bank fishing on River Almond from Cramond to Kirkliston

Fishing for brown trout, salmon and sea trout on 8 miles of the river Almond (mainly double bank) between Cramond (Edinburgh) and Kirkliston.

The main species is brown trout with fish between 1lb-1.5lb regularly caught and occasionally fish between 3lb - 4lb have been recorded.The river benefits from good runs of sea trout and some salmon .

Parking is available (see website & beatmaps for details)with facilities for food and refreshments at cafe nearby.

Species Season Salmon and Sea Trout: 1st of Feb - 31st of Oct Brown Trout : 15th of Mar - 6th of Oct All Anglers Must: Produce a valid permit and allow an inspection of their fishing equipment when requested by a Committee Member or an authorised bailiff on demand. Return all fish to the water immediately. Submit a valid catch return form to the Club Treasurer by the 14th November at the latest.
