The Kinnaird fishing consists of two miles of double bank fishing 1.5 miles downstream of Brechin. All beats (except Powmouth) let for 4 rods although summer water may not allow this number on all beats.
A riverkeeper is employed by the estate to oversee and maintain fishings generally and to 'get you started'.

6 named pools from 'Arrat's Mill" to "Wattie Bain". Powmouth beat included in spring to end of March. This beat has been improved slowly over the years and provides reasonable salmon, grilse and sea trout from July onwards, with sea trout usually starting running in June.
