The Bellabeg Beat can be found in the pretty village of Bellabeg on Upper Donside.

Situated on the banks of the historic Lonach Games Field this short but attractive beat offers the trout angler not only the chance of landing wild Brown Trout but is also a great place to relax and unwind.

One deep pool along with a mix of runs and glides gives diversity to the beat.

The months of April and May offer the best chance of landing a big trout, however summer evening fishing can be worthwhile especially as the sun sets.

Set in beautiful countryside where wildlife is abundant, otters, roe deer and the occasional visit from an osprey all add to your days fishing.

With safe parking situated close to the river, the beat can easily be fished from the bank.

No formal catch records have been kept, as the beat has only been fished on the odd occasion by the current owner.
