For more detail - see BOOK DAYS below
The Stinchar is essentially a spate river, but can produce excellent sport in the right conditions. The main run of salmon and sea trout occurs between July to October.
The Knockdolian water consists of 3 miles double bank fishing, which is divided into seven beats, with at least two named pools in each.
Each beat can fish 2 rods and a rotation system is in operation.
The fishing is by fly only and anglers are asked to follow the River Stinchar anglers Code of Practice.
The fishery is only four miles from the sea, which means that in good water they will often hold fresh fish.
Accommodation is also available on the Estate.
A traditional whitewashed stone built farmhouse on a working farm. From the privately enclosed garden, views give onto Knockdolian Hill, the Stinchar River and the wooded hills beyond. 5 dbl rooms and 3 bathrooms provide self-catering accommodation for 10 people. However cooking and cleaning services are available.
