The Roe rises high above the Glenshane Pass, dropping rapidly to Dungiven.
The spate river then makes its way through the beautiful Roe Valley Country Park before meandering across the broad Lough Foyle lowlands.
Sea trout fishing starts the season on the Roe, with fine runs from late June to August.
Salmon fishing is at its best from August onwards, proving most productive in spate conditions in the mid section of the river.
Cressabelle has exclusive visitor rods available each day which may be booked on the Availability link.
Ticket price includes all local regulatory rod licences and permits. You will have access to fishing on the whole river. A map will be provided and the river guide can get you started on the best places to fish on the river.
A guide is mandatory for this fishery, please add it to your basket alongside your visitor rod when booking. You can select either the 2 hr river guide option or full/half day angling guide option when booking tickets (1 guide for up to 3 people). An angling guide is recommended for inexperienced anglers or anglers new to river fishing.
Note: All waters are shared with local anglers attached to clubs and associations. The visitor rod permits access to the full river. Details will be provided on river rules and regulations you will be expected to follow.
