The region is large and offering the angler all types of fishing on the regions many rivers.

The River Ure is a river in North Yorkshire, England, approximately 74 miles long from its source to the point where it changes name to the River Ouse.

The river is good for trout fishing and really starts in April.

The River Esk fishing is located between Danby village and Egton Village on the North Yorkshire Moors.

The river is small and most of the river is subject to heavy tree lining on both banks. This gives the fish good security from predation.

The river fishes well after a water rise in the summer months.

Some salmon do run the river but it is primarily Trout and Seatrout in the river.

End of may to September offer the angler the best chance of catching.

Egton fishery offers more accessible fishing and car parking.
