The prime River Tamar beats are within easy access of the A30 - Devon and Cornwall's main trunk road. The A30 leaves the M5 at Exeter, offering easy access from Bristol, London and the south in general.
The middle river is best accessed by leaving the A30 at Lifton or Launceston. The lower river is best accessed via the A386, which leaves the A30 at Okehampton.
