Derwent is one of the most attended game fisheries in the country enjoying the combination of lots of bank space with easy access and gentle sloping banks. Well stocked with rainbows trout its the perfect venue for the fly and bait angler alike.

Family and couples permit is £39 (T&Cs apply)
Full permit is £25
NEW two rod trout permit is £29
Concession permit is £23
Credit Cruncher is £19 for single rod and permit and £23 for two rod permit.

Derwent Reservoir is five miles west of Consett in Co Durham and lies within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With around 6 miles of bank, the 1000 acre reservoir is evenly split for fly and bait anglers. There is a combination of good bank space, easy access and gently sloping sides. Three miles of the south shore are available for both multi-bait and fly fishing. Whilst the north shore is fly fishing only. Fishing is from the bank with wading allowed to thigh depth. There is no boat fishing.
