Last week
(Last Updated: Tuesday 30 May)
W/C 22nd of May
Blank week on the Eden with sunny days and high temperatures through the day but cooling off at night. Fish have been seen showing in the deep holding pools early morning and late at night. The river is now at its summer low level (1,6) and with no rain forecast for 10 days, conditions will be tricky. For any visiting rods I’d recommend long leaders and small, sparse flys and micro tubes, also if possible start later and fish into the dark.
The mayflies have made an appearance in good numbers aswell with anglers getting some good sport for anglers targetting brown trout.
Tight lines
